Crackling fires, a chill in the air, pumpkins and falling leaves … Autumn! It’s a great time to have a wedding!
To help in choosing colors for your Fall celebration, I’ve compiled the Fall Pantone colors for the past three years (shown in first image below), so you can get a sense of the colors and tones that work best for that time of year. Rich, warm colors seem to be on trend each year. You’ll find shades of green, purple, deep yellow, brown, blue, grey, and, of course, orange.
It’s fun to mix and match the colors. It may be easier to find reception décor if you use orange; but you can easily add another color for your bridesmaids dresses and as an accent color in your décor, if you prefer.
Decorating with pumpkins, gourds, candles and leaves is often seen in Fall wedding celebrations but you can get creative and add other Autumn-inspired items, as well. I hope some of the ideas below from our Fall Weddings Pinterest board will inspire you to create your own perfect Fall wedding.
And by the way, for Fall 2012, Pantone has chosen Tangerine Tango shown in the first chart below, as the Color of the Year!
